Carly Rae Jepsen will be channeling her inner the Situation this summer when she plays Shadow of the City festival in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
The 1975 will also headline the fest on June 18, which was put together by Jack Antonoff of fun. and Bleachers. Antonoff will also be reuniting his old band, Steel Train, for this show.
BØRNS, Bishop, FRNKIERO ANDTHE CELLABRATION, Shamir and HANA will also take the stage. Proceeds will benefit local LGBT centers.
“I grew up hanging around on the seaside boardwalk and to put the festival there this year is completely far out,” Antonoff said in a statement. “Also, proud to expand it beyond something that I headline every year.”
“The idea behind SOTC is to bring a music festival to the Shadow of the City — a place filled with music fans who have to travel to the bigger city to see a lot of live music ’cause their town gets skipped over,” said Antonoff. “Year two gives me such joy because it makes me feel like we are really going to keep doing this.”
