Phoenix-area folks with outdoor plans this weekend won’t have to worry about rain spoiling the party.
The dry spell that has so far spanned February and March will carry on into the first week of April. There is no chance of rain in the National Weather Service forecast through early next week.
Friday should be partly sunny with highs from 74 to 79 degrees and lows from 49 to 57. The normal high for April 1 is 81 degrees.
Expect sunny skies Saturday with highs from 79 to 84 degrees and lows in the 50s.
Look for more sun Sunday with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s and lows from 51 to 60 degrees.
The workweek starts with mostly sunny skies, highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s and lows in the lower 50s to lower 60s Monday.
Tuesday should be partly sunny with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
PS – I have sent this to you several times , but the mailbox that you use was full. I apologize for any problems this may have created for you. Joe Fahey
We live in Payson, AZ.
Rock Newcomb photographed this hummingbird on the feeder that hangs outside his artist studio window. That is snow on the opposite side of the feeder.
We had no idea that hummingbirds stayed in Payson during the winter months.
If you do feature the photograph in weatherpix, would you please advise us of the date of the publication?
NOTE: We will have the AZ Republic “on vacation hold” from March 2nd through March 7th. If possible, please do not feature the photograph during that time frame, since we would like to see it. We take a credit on our account during “vacation hold”.
Thank you for considering to feature the photograph.
